This massive 32,256 piece jigsaw puzzle by Ravensburger currently holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for the Worlds Largest Jigsaw Puzzle. Keith Haring has always been a favorite artist of mine, now only if I could find the space to put together this wall sized 17-ft long, 6-ft tall puzzle I'd be in business.

This ginormous puzzle even comes with its own transportation trolley

Well, I just finished this beautiful Ravensburger Puzzle featuring the gorgeous New York City Brooklyn Bridge lit up at night. I can definitely say this finished jigsaw puzzle is definitely going up on our wall. As usual the Ravensburger pieces fit together seamlessly and the image is just as bright and brilliant in black and white as any color puzzle.

The Breakdown:

Difficulty -  5/10
With 10 being the most difficult, I would rate this jigsaw puzzle as a 5. Perfect for the intermediate puzzler! The black and white tones definitely upped the anty for difficulty, but with only 300 pieces, I was able to complete this puzzle in about 5 hours (over a two day span).

Image Quality - 10/10
The finished puzzle turned out beautiful, this puzzle has wall decor written all over it!

Piece Quality - 10/10
Again, as no surprise Ravensburger's perfectly fitting pieces made this puzzle a joy to put together. Perfect for glueing!

How To Successfully Glue a Puzzle Together

3

Category : ,

Have you ever wondered how to glue a jigsaw puzzle together? It may seem like a simple task, but to ensure your jigsaw puzzle looks great and remains intact for years to come you'll need to follow a few simple steps.  We reccomend using a puzzle glue that includes a squeegy applicator not a brush (a brush will take hours and you will most likely end up with an uneven surface.

1. Make sure your jigsaw puzzle is on a hard surface and placed somewhere that it can be left for a few hours while drying. Be aware that excess glue may run off the edges of the puzzle, so

2. Clean the surface of your jigsaw puzzle to get rid of any left over puzzle dust.

3.   Plan your "glue route", basically you want to apply the glue in the same direction to avoid lumps. The best method is to pour the glue itself to the top of the puzzle and work your way down with long even strokes.

4. Don't be afraid to get messy. Most puzzle glues will rub off with a little soap and water, but we reccomend glueing your puzzle together somewhere safe, away from expensive furniture and/or anything wooden.

5. Look at your puzzle from different angles, this will allow you to see where you may have missed a spot or if you have applied too much glue in certain areas. Don't forget the edges, the trickiest part is ensuring that your jigsaw puzzle doesn't end up glued to whatever surface is underneath, so make sure you carefully check the edges while its drying.

6. Let it Dry...Apply, Let it Dry, Apply. You will want to make sure you have let your puzzle dry for atleast a few hours for the first coat. If you are hanging it on a wall, you will want to do at least 3 coats and allow it to fully dry for 24hrs before hanging.

7. Enjoy your finished work of art! After your puzzle is successfully glued together, you will be able to enjoy its beauty for years to come.
